A contractor has paid more than $1.1 million to acquire a 7,500-square-foot building in Bridgewater, under a newly announced deal by Sheldon Gross Realty.
In a news release, the brokerage firm said the single-story property at 711 East Main St. will serve as a new location Skydell Contracting Inc. The buyer, which provides kitchen and bathroom remodeling services in Somerset and Union counties, purchased the building from PRD Properties LLC for $1.132 million.
“Bridgewater’s absolutely an ideal spot for Skydell,” said Marcy Gross, president of Sheldon Gross Realty. “It’s right in the heart of Somerset County, where much of its business is conducted. In addition, East Main Street offers tremendous visibility, so the location itself can be a business-development tool.”
Gross managed the deal alongside Vice President Eric Weston, noting the site’s location near Interstate 287 and routes 206, 202, 22 and 28.
