An investor has acquired a nearly 22,000-square-foot retail property in the Bergen County borough of River Edge, in a newly announced deal by Cushman & Wakefield.
Brokers with the firm represented the seller, Kamack Associates LLC, in the transaction at 625 Kinderkamack Road. They also procured the undisclosed buyer in the nearly $3.16 million deal.
Known as River Edge Town Mall, the 21,537-square-foot neighborhood center sits on 1.54 acres and is currently leased to five tenants.
“We are thrilled to announce the successful sale of River Edge Town Mall,” Cushman’s Jordan Sobel said. “Boasting a strategic location in Bergen County, with excellent accessibility and an e-commerce resilient tenant mix, this value-add property offers a lucrative investment opportunity in a high-income, densely populated area.”
The C&W team included Andy Schwartz, Sobel, Andre Balthazard and Dan Bottiglieri. They noted that the property, which has 105 parking spaces, is accessible to more than 150,000 residents within a three-mile radius and is less than a mile from the River Edge train station.
It’s also within 1.5 miles of Route 4 and a 15-minute drive from the George Washington Bridge, C&W said.
