A manufacturer has leased nearly 15,000 square feet of laboratory and office space in the Somerset section of Franklin, in a transaction arranged by Cushman & Wakefield.
Brokers with the firm represented The Winter Organization, the landlord at 200 Cottontail Lane, in the 14,889-square-foot commitment. The leasing team did not identify the tenant by name, only describing it as a leading global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors and other specialty ingredients.
“200 Cottontail Lane was an excellent choice for this organization,” C&W’s Todd Elfand said. “The property is an oasis in Somerset with a beautiful outdoor courtyard, fountain, seating area, full-service café, abundant parking, sky-lit atrium with a bright and open environment.”
Elfand, Paul Giannone, Kevin Carton and Joe Vacca lead the leasing team at the two-story complex, citing its diamond-shaped courtyard and peaked-roof atrium entrances with solar glass facades. The building, which is a quarter-mile from Interstate 287, also has multiple second-floor balconies that offer tenants room for outdoor collaboration and fresh air.
“This property boasts a loading dock, heavy floor load capacity, significant power capabilities and fiber optic network, making it a prime location for the organization’s new lab and office space,” Giannone said. “The building is proving to be of interest to trophy tenants who seek headquarters-type quality space with the ability to create an innovation center for their business.”
C&W added that management recently installed additional sanitizing stations and self-sanitizing antibacterial touch pads on all doors.
