A global enterprise software provider has renewed its lease at Waterfront Corporate Center, where it occupies nearly 40,000 square feet under a deal with SJP Properties.
According to Cushman & Wakefield, which represented the tenant, NICE Systems will remain in the entire 11th floor at 221 River St. That means employees will continue to benefit from a location that is steps from Hoboken Terminal, giving them immediate access to NJ Transit trains and buses, the PATH system, NY Waterway ferries and the Hudson- Bergen Light Rail.
Cushman’s David DeMatteis, Mina Shehata and Scott Schubert represented the tenant in the 39,990-square-foot transaction with SJP, which was represented in-house by Alex Erdos. NICE Systems is an original tenant of 211 River, the third phase of SJP’s master-planned, 1.5 million-square-foot office and retail complex along the Hudson River.
“We are proud to continue our longstanding global relationship with NICE Systems by securing their lease at this premier waterfront property,” said DeMatteis, an executive managing director with C&W.
