Denholtz has bolstered its asset management team with two new hires, welcoming commercial real estate industry veterans Warren Loy and Nicole Vasquez.
Loy, who brings more than 20 years of experience, joins the Red Bank-based firm as senior vice president and head of asset management. He’ll work closely in his new role with the company’s executive leadership team to identify and implement asset management strategies to maximize property value and investor returns across its more than $2 billion national portfolio.
He most recently was director of asset management with Lendlease, an Australian-based international real estate investment company, according to a news release. Loy is also a former regional manager with Related Cos., where he oversaw the performance of a vast real estate portfolio across markets such as Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and New York City, while he holds a bachelor’s from the City College of New York and has completed advanced coursework in real estate finance at New York University.
“Denholtz’s reputation for superior asset management has always been central to its success,” Loy said. “As the business continues to grow, I look forward to building on its legacy, leveraging my expertise to optimize and scale our asset management platform, and collaborating with our team to drive continued excellence across the portfolio.”
As vice president, asset management, Vasquez will work closely with Loy to optimize asset performance across Denholtz’s portfolio. She comes with more than a decade of experience and most recently was a vice president of asset management at Onyx Equities.
Vasquez began her career as an assistant property manager at Lowe Enterprises, a national real estate development, investment and management company headquartered in Los Angeles, the news release said. She holds a master’s in real estate finance and investments from New York University and a bachelor’s in political science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
“As Denholtz enters its next phase of growth, asset management will be critical to ensuring its portfolio continues to thrive,” Vasquez said. “I am excited to work with Warren and my asset management colleagues to enhance the performance of the firm’s assets nationwide.”
Denholtz CEO Katie Kurtz added: “Adding Warren and Nicole to our team reinforces our commitment to building an institutional-quality asset management team. As we continue to scale our asset management strategy across our portfolio, I know that Warren and Nicole will be integral members of our team and help to drive our success for years to come.”
