Pickleball Kingdom has opened the doors to a new location in Hamilton, where it occupies nearly 41,000 square feet of light industrial space developed by Denholtz.
Located at 1100 Negron Drive, the facility has 14 courts, a mezzanine overlooking gameplay, a private space for parties and corporate events, a grab-and-go station with snacks and refreshments, a lounge and instant replay video technology, according to a news release. It’s now among more than 350 locations for the country’s largest indoor pickleball court franchisor, boasting a location near the intersection of Interstate 195 and Route 130, as well as Exit 7A on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Denholtz joined Samrat “Sam” Sood, the owner of Pickleball Kingdom Hamilton, in mid-February to debut the 40,500-square-foot space.
“We are thrilled to see our vision come to life with the opening of Pickleball Kingdom Hamilton,” Sood said. “I’d like to thank our team and partners for their tireless work to help us achieve this milestone, and I look forward to seeing Pickleball Kingdom Hamilton quickly become a cornerstone of the local community.”
In a news release, Denholtz noted that 1100 Negron Drive is a key piece of its New Jersey light industrial portfolio, which also includes 32,147 square feet at 110 North Gold Drive in Robbinsville and 245 Willow Brook Road, a 101,116-square-foot facility in Freehold.
“Sports and recreation uses continue to be a growing demand driver for well-located, Class A industrial spaces like 1100 Negron Drive,” said Kristine Hurlbut, senior vice president of leasing at Red Bank-based Denholtz. “We are excited to help bring Pickleball Kingdom Hamilton to the community and congratulate Sam on the center’s opening.”
