Diversified Properties has started construction on a 75-unit apartment building that will mark the second and largest phase of a project near Lake Hopatcong in Morris County.
According to the firm, the property at 9 Hellers Lane in Jefferson Township will have a mix of upscale one- and two-bedroom rentals as well as new amenities for its Jefferson Place property. They include a fully equipped fitness center, a resident lounge tailored for working from home, a high-end golf simulator, underground parking and ample outdoor gathering spaces that complement the surrounding natural landscape.
The launch of phase two follows strong leasing momentum for the initial 32-unit building, Diversified said, touting the project’s appeal and the demand for high-quality rental housing in the Jefferson Township area. Monthly rents start from $2,400.
“Jefferson Place has been incredibly well received, and reaching the 50 percent leasing milestone so early validates both the design and vision behind this community,” said Nicholas Minoia, managing member of Diversified Properties. “As we begin Phase II, we’re excited to build upon that momentum by introducing additional residences and amenities that enhance daily living while maintaining the high standards that define Jefferson Place.”
Residents of Jefferson Place have easy access to Lake Hopatcong and hundreds of acres of the Morris County Park System, the developer said. They’re also just off Route 15, adjacent to a new QuickChek and minutes from mass transit.
