Doren Development has found a new tenant for a bank property in downtown Rutherford after acquiring the nearly 2,300-square-foot building.
The firm paid an undisclosed price for the former Capital One branch at 74 Park Ave., which occupies a prominent corner some two blocks from the borough’s train station. It has since inked a 2,268-square-foot lease with Columbia Bank to backfill the space.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Columbia Bank to 74 Park Avenue in Rutherford,” said Rick Doren, managing member and president of operations at Passaic-based Doren Development. “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to investing in the community and fostering long-term growth. Columbia Bank’s presence will bring both convenience and value to the area, and we’re excited to be part of their continued success.”
