A freight forwarder has signed a lease in Old Bridge for a 43,000-square-foot industrial building with nearly seven acres of outdoor storage space, brokers with Bussel Realty Corp. announced.
According to a news release, the property at 3220 Bordentown Ave. provides E-Z Cargo with quick access to a host of highways, including Route 9, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. The facility, meantime, has 16-foot ceiling heights, three loading docks and seven drive-in doors, among other features, while it sits on 9.94 acres zoned for industrial outdoor storage.
BRC Vice President Anthony Rittwager and Matthew Phillips of the firm’s asset services group represented E-Z Cargo in the full-building lease in the township’s Parlin section. Sheldon Gross Realty represented the landlord, 3220 Bordentown Avenue LLC.
“Our closing with E-Z Cargo demonstrates the (Advance Industrial) Group’s ability to deliver on the strategic alignment of the client’s vision with their operational needs,” Phillips said. “By strategically relocating to a prime location near Port Newark and the critical metropolitan areas of Maryland and Pennsylvania, E-Z Cargo is poised to optimize its operations while retaining the capacity to grow. This move underscores our commitment to delivering tailored solutions that empower our clients to thrive in their respective industries.”
