A food manufacturer has expanded its footprint in New Jersey with a nearly 102,000-square-foot lease in Fair Lawn, brokers with NAI James E. Hanson announced Tuesday.
The real estate services firm represented the tenant, RD Foods Americas Inc., in the transaction at 19-05 Nevins Road. The lease provides the company with its third warehouse in New Jersey, which it will use to distribute international, fresh and gourmet food ranging from seafood to fruits and vegetables.
NAI Hanson’s Eric Demmers and Russ Verducci completed the 101,811-square-foot transaction. The Avison Young team of Matthew C. Turse and Timothy J. Cadigan, both senior vice presidents, and Associate John Recchia represented ownership.
“The area around 19-05 Nevins is one of the most sought-after locations for manufacturers who are searching for both superior access to New York City as well as the important transportation arteries running through Bergen County,” Demmers said. “We were happy to work with RD Foods Americas to help them secure a warehouse in one of the most in-demand markets in the region that will allow them to continue to grow their business.”
Located off Route 208, 19-05 Nevins Road is a 151,700-square-foot, one-story building 10 miles from New York City. Its newest tenant is part of the RD Group of Companies, a 20-year-old, privately held food manufacturing company with warehouses in nine locations.
