Faropoint has sold a more than 44,000-square-foot industrial building in Camden County for $6.4 million, brokers with NAI Mertz announced Monday.
The facility, located just off Route 30 in Somerdale, is now the home of F.W. Webb after the wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, cooling and other products purchased the property at 900 Kennedy Blvd. The brokers noted that the 44,055-square-foot building is some four miles from Exit 3 of the New Jersey Turnpike and two miles from Interstate 295, providing easy access to Philadelphia and other key destinations in the region.
NAI Mertz President Scott Mertz represented the buyer, while Senior Vice President Jonathan Klear represented the seller, a Hoboken-based real estate investment firm.
“We are pleased to welcome F.W. Webb to 900 Kennedy Boulevard,” Mertz said. “The property is ideally located in Camden County providing convenient access to major highways and a fully renovated facility with plenty of warehouse space and an abundant fenced outdoor storage area.”
According to a news release, the building has 10,296 square feet of front warehouse space with 12-foot ceiling heights and 22-foot ceiling heights in the main warehouse. It also has five loading docks and two drive-ins, plus a 2,029-square-foot office area that is window-lined and includes bullpen space, conference rooms, two private offices and restrooms.
“I am proud to have represented the team of professionals at Faropoint in yet another successful industrial sale transaction,” Klear said. “This deal not only reflects the continued growth of Faropoint’s real estate strategy, but also brings a high-quality business to Camden County — contributing to the region’s economic vitality and industrial growth.”
