A cookie shop has found its first New Jersey location after taking space at a Hamilton shopping center, in one of three newly announced retail deals by NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co.
According to a news release, Wegu LLC is leasing 1,033 square feet for what will be the new Blue Print Cookies store at 199 Sloan Ave. NAIDB Vice President Jennifer Harrison represented the tenant in the deal with TEB OF HAMILTON LLC, the owner of what’s known as The Shoppes at AMC, citing continued demand for specialized, experiential food offerings among consumers and a desire for franchisees to enter and expand within the New Jersey market.
She also represented KSPH Ventures LLC, the operator of a Tim Hortons location, in a 2,000-square-foot lease in the Forked River section of Lacey Township. That paves the way for the international coffee and baked goods brand to open at 245 Main St., which is owned by Sunrise Pointe LP, as the concept expands in New Jersey.
“Necessity-based and quick-service retail demand remains exceptionally high across our markets of focus,” Harrison said. “While overall leasing activity has slowed year to date, this is primarily due to a constrained supply of quality, available space, rather than a lack of demand.”
In Union Township, NAIDB Vice President Richard Goski and Associate Vice President Catherine Goski-Vasquez represented the private seller of a 2,000-square-foot retail building at 2515 Vauxhall Road. A buyer listed as Overcomers ABA Services LLC paid an undisclosed price in the deal, reflecting what the brokerage team said is continued demand from service-oriented and essential businesses seeking valuable space within a densely populated, upper-income region.
