REDCOM Design & Construction LLC has bolstered its sales team with the addition of a former Goldman Sachs vice president.
In a news release, the Westfield-based firm said it has hired Jason Irwin to focus on sales in the New York and New Jersey commercial construction markets. He started with REDCOM late last month, joining a team consisting of Sam Rockaway, vice president of sales; Lynne Rein, regional salesperson; and David Marconi, regional salesperson.
Irwin spent eight years at Goldman before joining REDCOM, with a role that called for managing the relationships of the firm’s hedge fund clients.
“I’ve always had a passion for construction,” Irwin said. “REDCOM felt like a place where I could leverage the valuable skillset developed at Goldman Sachs and apply it to this industry.”
The hire is part of the firm’s continued growth over the past decade, the news release said. REDCOM has grown to more than 80 employees from about 20 in 2010.
“We’re very excited to welcome Jason to our firm,” said Greg Redington, president of REDCOM. “His excitement for the industry is refreshing and we’re confident he’ll play an integral role in the growth of our business.”
