A trucking company has leased more than 30,000 square feet of industrial space in Edison, under a newly completed transaction by Bussel Realty Corp.
The brokerage firm represented the tenant, Inter-Metro Freight Inc., in the transaction with Federal Business Centers. The common, contract and custom bonded carrier is taking 32,451 square feet at 74 Northfield Ave., part of a 145,906-square-foot property within the town’s Raritan Center section.
Gregory Irving, executive vice president of BRC, completed the assignment for the Edison-based firm. He touted the building’s proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike at Exit 10, routes 1 and 440, the Garden State Parkway and the Outerbridge Crossing to Staten Island and Brooklyn.
The property offers 24-foot clear ceiling heights, 40-foot-by-40-foot column spacing, tailboards and drive-in doors for loading, among other features.
