Summit Associates Inc. has landed a tenant for a nearly 89,000-square-foot industrial building in Edison, brokers with Lee & Associates – WBE New Jersey announced Thursday.
The occupier, a freight forwarding and logistics services business, will use the space at 117 Sunfield Ave. to support its expansion in the region, according to a news release. The deal provides it with a foothold in the well-known Raritan Center district — which is minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike, the Garden State Parkway, Interstate 287 and other highways — plus modern features such as 32-foot clear ceiling heights, 17 loading docks, EFSR sprinklers and energy-efficient LED lighting.
Lee & Associates’ Claudia Ganas, Monica Franco and Ana Carolina DeAraujo represented the undisclosed tenant in the 88,620-square-foot deal. Vincent Visceglia, vice president of Summit Associates, represented the landlord internally.
“We conducted an extensive site search for our client,” Ganas said. “After a thorough review of alternatives, 117 Sunfield Avenue’s proximity to the area’s major ports, superior highway access and pristine condition created an ideal leasing scenario.”
She added: “We were able to close the deal seamlessly while ensuring that all of the tenant’s needs were met. We look forward to a continued and successful partnership with Summit Associates Inc.”
