A luxury rug retailer has leased more than 12,000 square feet at a freestanding building in Paramus, according to a brokerage team with The Goldstein Group.
The tenant, Wool & Loom, is using the space at 42 Route 17 to expand its business while backfilling a location previously used by another home furnishings business. It’s leasing the 12,400-square-foot building under a deal with 42 Route 17 LLC.
The Goldstein Group Executive Vice President Lew Finkelstein, Vice President CJ Huter and Vice President Marc Palestina represented both parties, describing Wool & Loom as a distinguished retailer of handcrafted woolen rugs offering a diverse selection of high-quality, handmade pieces that blend traditional craftsmanship with timeless design.
“We recently sold the property — previously occupied by Rugs & Home — to an investor seeking a Paramus property,” Palestina said. “Before closing, we successfully negotiated a lease agreement with Wool & Loom, which is a natural fit given the building’s history as a home furnishings and carpet retailer.”
