A manufacturer in the life sciences industry has taken 5,000 square feet at a Springfield office building, according to a team with The Boniakowski Commercial Real Estate Group.
In a news release, the brokerage firm said it represented ownership at 51 Commerce St. in the lease with Evergreen Theragnostics. The tenant is a local business that needed expansion space and will occupy half of the property, which is just off Route 22, under a five-year lease with an option to extend.
BCREG Senior Vice President Todd Gannet represented the landlord, which recently acquired the building and occupies the other 5,000 square feet, while Sheldon Gross Realty represented the tenant. Boniakowski added that it brokered the sale of the property in February, prompting the new owner-occupier to enlist its services to lease the excess space.
