The owner of a Burlington County office building has welcomed Habitat for Humanity as one of its newest tenants, brokers with Vantage Commercial announced.
The leasing team on Thursday said the space at 341 New Albany Road in Moorestown will become the new satellite office for the organization’s South-Central New Jersey chapter, starting this fall. Habitat, which is relocating from a retail facility in nearby Maple Shade, is occupying 5,000 square feet of flex space under the deal with Needleman Management.
Vantage Commercial Executive Director Ken Richardson and Director of Client Services Monica Walsh, both of whom volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of South-Central New Jersey, represented the tenant in the deal.
“Habitat for Humanity is excited to move into their new home,” Walsh said. “They are finally settling into a layout that will maximize their efficiency, thus delivering more help to those in need.”
They noted that Habitat had moved to a temporary location within a Needleman property as part of a pilot program designed to increase floor space within the Restore retail building, thus increasing merchandise and sales, before ultimately engaging Vantage Commercial to locate and negotiate a permanent satellite office.
“They were very specific about what they wanted, a professional space where employees would remain happy, production would increase and the community would be served,” Richardson said.
