Walters Homes has launched a realty division aimed at spurring new construction or redevelopment at vacant and existing residential sites in Ocean County.
The Barnegat-based homebuilder said its new Walters Realty unit will work with clients who are searching for vacant properties and teardown opportunities throughout South Jersey. The firm has tapped industry veteran Patrick Bocchicchio to be in charge of sales and operations for the division, bringing 21 years of experience in residential real estate, including 18 as a broker.
The new division will also provide mortgage and title insurance services.
“We want to give our clients an enhanced experience by providing a full range of services,” said Matthew Gaudet-Walters, sales associate. “With Patrick at the helm, this division will complement our long list of residential development offerings. At Walters Homes we work together as one team to integrate our clients’ needs into a cohesive plan that delivers a high-quality energy-efficient turnkey home.”
Walters Group said the division will streamline the homebuilding process by providing services from locating properties — including older homes, storm-damaged homes or empty lots — through construction. The company has built nearly 1,500 homes in coastal locations ranging from Little Egg Harbor Township to Manasquan.
The firm also touted Bocchicchio’s experience, noting that he has settled over 2,000 transactions during his career.
