A new 11,000-square-foot specialty museum has opened its doors at American Dream in East Rutherford, following a project spearheaded by JRM Construction.
In a news release, the construction manager said Paradox Museum has more than 70 interactive exhibits meant to stimulate both the mind and eyes. It added that the project incorporates innovative design that appeals to the senses, such as a one-way flow so that visitors can experience each paradox exhibit to the fullest, along with new exhibit rooms, a welcome area, reception, restrooms and a retail store built by JRM.
Additionally, the Paradox Museum welcomes guests with a distinctive storefront using custom metal and glass cubes, giving it a modern twist, while each exhibit area was assigned a unique color and design scheme. Along with the high-end finishes that were added to the project, JRM said, the firm also installed new MEP and sprinkler systems.
The construction firm worked alongside a team that included architects with Mancini Duffy, Ryan Soames Engineering and Eipel Group Engineering, according to a news release. JRM’s other buildouts at the massive retail and entertainment complex along Route 3 include Louis Vuitton, Eddie Bauer, Anne Fontaine, Ferrari and Mulberry, while it has been tapped for upcoming projects such as TimeVallee and Canada Goose stores.
