Three new leases and a renewal have contributed to more than 84,000 square feet of activity at a six-building office campus in Woodbridge, landlord KBS Realty Advisors announced.
The owner on Wednesday identified the deals as part of six recent transactions at Woodbridge Corporate Plaza, which spans 632,000 square feet. The transactions follow recent upgrades at the property, which sits at Route 1 and the Garden State Parkway in the township’s Iselin section.
The new tenants include:
- US LBM, a distributor of building materials, which was represented Matthew Saker of CBRE
- Susheela Verma, a law firm specializing in business and personal law, which was represented by Jordan Zimmel of Zimmel Associates
- An unnamed recycling firm, which was represented by Nicholas Hilton of CBRE
- Top Shelf Electric, an electrical and telecommunications contracting firm, which was represented by Chris Hanenberg of Savillis Studley
Jamie Drummond and Andrew Perrotti of Newmark Knight Frank represented KBS in the transactions, KBS said in a news release. Drummond also represented Middlesex Water Co. in an expansion.
Meantime, KBS also inked a renewal and expansion with an unnamed major insurance provider, which was represented by Bryn Cinque of Colliers International.
In announcing the leases, the landlord touted recent renovations including upgraded lobbies, new restrooms and public corridors, modernized front and rear entrances, new interior and exterior signage and a new 6,000-square-foot fitness center. KBS is also in the midst of building an upgraded cafeteria at the complex, which is less than a mile from the MetroPark train station.
“We believe that Woodbridge Corporate Plaza’s prime location along major highways and in close proximity to the MetroPark station makes the property desirable to existing and potential tenants who have employees commuting,” said Stephen Close, senior vice president at KBS. “We are nearing the completion of numerous renovations at the property, which we believe will further enhance tenants’ experience at the property.”
