A developer has acquired a nearly 67-acre parcel in Central Pennsylvania with plans in place to build 420 age-restricted homes, in a newly announced deal by The Kislak Co. Inc.
Matt Wolf, a senior vice president with the Woodbridge-based brokerage firm, represented HHF Real Estate in the $7.93 million transaction in the Millersville section of Manor Township, according to a news release. He also procured the buyer, Burkentine Builders, noting that the site at 306 South Duke St. is fully approved for 220 townhomes and 200 midrise condominiums, plus a health care facility that may contain up to 75 beds.
“After years of going through the approval process, it will be very exciting to see this project break ground,” Wolf said. He added that the 66.88-acre property, known as The Village at Funk’s Farms, is part of a community that’s a 10-minute drive from downtown Lancaster and the home of Millersville University, while the city is also home to eclectic art galleries, historic museums and sites, farmers’ markets and other destinations for tourists and residents.
