Archer has elevated land use and cannabis attorney Richard Wells to partner as part of its latest round of promotions.
Wells, who joined the firm in 2021, is based in its Voorhees office. He focuses his practice on land use, zoning, environmental permitting and regulatory compliance, advising clients on site plan approvals and other aspects of development.
The Rutgers Law School graduate also handles real estate matters and advises clients in the cannabis industry, according to his bio. Prior to joining Archer, Wells regularly advised public entities throughout South Jersey on the redevelopment process, while he has served as solicitor to several land use boards and successfully litigated a variety of land use appeals in both state and federal courts.
Wells rises to partner alongside feller Archer attorneys Vinita Banthia, Harrison Breakstone and Jason Sena.
“We’re proud to welcome this outstanding group of attorneys to the Archer partnership,” firm Chair Deborah Hays said. “They bring not only strong legal skill but also a deep dedication to client service. Each has made meaningful contributions to our firm’s growth, and I congratulate them on this well-deserved achievement.”
