Langan Engineering & Environmental Services has acquired a California-based consulting firm, seeking to strengthen its technology offerings for clients that manage real estate portfolios.
The company, which is based in Parsippany, said the addition of Robert Stephen Consulting provides it with a so-called integrated workplace management systems platform that will help clients looking to maximize workplace efficiency, streamline asset management and significantly improve operations across their portfolio. RSC also offers geographic information system solutions, Langan said, adding that it continues to rapidly grow its digital solutions practice around the country.
“Our team has long recognized RSC as a well-respected brand in the IWMS space,” Langan CEO and President David T. Gockel said. “Their expertise and staff align perfectly with our vision to offer comprehensive, data-driven solutions to our clients.”
RSC, founded in 2000, provides integrated workplace management systems for real estate portfolio management and facilities optimization, according to a news release. The company’s client base spans multiple industries, including Fortune 500 corporations, state and local government, health care, education, energy and manufacturing.
Langan, meantime, employs more than 100 digital solutions or GIS professionals around the country, the news release said. With the integration of RSC’s team, the firm said it expects to enhance its ability to help clients overcome complex business challenges and improve operational performance across their real estate and asset portfolios.
