Larken Associates has signed a lease with Jersey Mike’s Subs to bring another national retailer to a grocery-anchored commercial property in central Warren County.
The popular sandwich chain, which has more than 3,000 locations across the United States and Canada, will occupy 1,865 square feet at The Village at Hawk Pointe in Washington. It joins a mix of retail, office and medical users at the three-building, 106,415-square-foot complex at 5 Club House Drive, part of a 65-acre development that includes 120 single-family homes and the Hawk Pointe Golf Club.
Rob Marek, executive vice president of Larken’s commercial division, and Silbert Realty represented ownership in the long-term deal. Coletta Commercial Realty represented the tenant, which was founded in 1956 in Point Pleasant and is known for its authentic, freshly prepared sandwiches made with premium ingredients.
“Since we acquired The Village at Hawk Pointe in 2018, we’ve been able to bring a strong mix of well-known tenants to the complex,” Marek said. “Jersey Mike’s is another great addition to our tenant lineup at The Village at Hawk Pointe, and we’re excited to see them serve residents of Washington and nearby communities.”
Located just off Route 31, the complex has also welcomed recent additions including Edward Jones and T-Mobile. Other users at the property, which is also accessible via interstates 78 and 80, include ShopRite, Visions Federal Credit Union and Hunterdon Health.
