Larken Associates has leased more than 3,000 square feet in Raritan Borough to a fast-growing youth soccer franchise, the real estate firm announced Friday.
The operator, KidsUnited, will occupy space at Larken’s three-building, 62,955-square-foot retail center known as Raritan Crossing at 90 East Somerset St. and Route 206 South. The new site will be among more than 20 franchise locations for the business, which provides early development soccer training programs designed to help young children build fundamental athletic skills, confidence, coordination and teamwork.
Victor Kelly, executive vice president of Larken Associates’ commercial division, represented the firm in the 3,321-square-foot transaction. The landlord added that KidsUnited, which operates in seven states, has more than two dozen new franchises planned.
Its cotenants at Raritan Crossing include Dollar Tree, Hunterdon Health Urgent Care, Retro Fitness and Domino’s, among others.
“Raritan Crossing’s central location, high visibility and accessibility and diverse tenant mix make it an ideal environment for a concept like KidsUnited,” Kelly said. “We are excited to bring another in-demand, family-oriented business to Raritan Crossing and further round out our tenant roster.”
