A leasing professional at Levin Management Corp. has earned a promotion after three years with the real estate services firm.

The company, which is based in North Plainfield, announced Friday that it has promoted Vanessa Fernandez to senior leasing representative. The move comes after a tenure that has included an anchor lease with FilStop, a Filipino grocer, at Clifton Plaza in Clifton and leases with Trader Joe’s and Ulta at North Village Shopping Center in North Brunswick.
“Since joining the team I have had the chance to work on a variety of different assignments and deals, including several high-profile, big-box leases,” Fernandez said. “This experience has allowed me to learn quickly and grow professionally. I am appreciative to LMC for this opportunity and excited to take on even bigger challenges as I move forward in my new role.”
Previously a leasing representative, the Chester resident is responsible for more than 1 million square feet of gross leasable area at 12 New Jersey properties within LMC’s management and leasing portfolio, the firm said. Fernandez is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
“In addition to completing deals with an impressive number of expanding retailers, Vanessa’s professionalism, work ethic and impeccable client service make her a true asset to our company,” said Matthew Harding, the firm’s CEO. “We look forward to her continued contributions as senior leasing representative.”
Stephanie Harris, LMC’s vice president of leasing, added: “This well-earned promotion recognizes Vanessa’s significant role in shaping LMC’s continued growth and success.
“We take great pride not only in our shopping centers but in having some of the best and brightest leasing professionals in the industry on our team to represent these properties and help clients achieve their goals,” she said.
