A fruit bowl and smoothie chain has leased nearly 2,400 square feet at a Flemington shopping center, brokers with Levin Management Corp. said this week.
Frutta Bowls, which is based in Freehold, will be among the newest tenants at the 240,000-square-foot Flemington Marketplace on Route 202. It will also be one of more than 20 locations for the operator, which offers natural acai, pitaya, kale and oatmeal bowls topped with fruit, granola and other toppings, along with smoothies and other items.
LMC Senior Leasing Representative Andrea Kyriacou represented ownership as the managing and leasing agent for Flemington Marketplace. Seth Katz of Legacy Commercial Realty represented Frutta Bowls.
“Increasingly, on-the-go consumers are looking for freshly prepared meals that are healthy, flavorful and high in quality,” Kyriacou said. “Frutta Bowls is one of the fastest-growing bowl-food franchises, and there’s nothing quite like the concept in this market area. We are excited to introduce this popular chain to the community.”
Frutta Bowls joins other tenants including anchors Burlington Coat Factory, Kohl’s, Michaels and ALDI, along with Chili’s, Panera Bread and others. In a news release, LMC touted Flemington Marketplace’s location on Route 202 near the busy Flemington Circle.
