A shopping center in southern Monmouth County has reached full occupancy with the addition of a new salon and the expansion of the property’s anchor supermarket.
The center’s leasing agent, Levin Management Corp., said this week that Cherry Blow Dry Bar leased 1,400 square feet at Wall Towne Center in Manasquan. The specialty salon — which provides premium hair blowouts, makeup services and hair applications and treatments at an affordable price — becomes the latest tenant at the 91,000-square-foot property on Route 34.
LMC Senior Leasing Representative Andrea Kyriacou represented ownership. David Dunkelman of Soloff Realty represented Cherry Blow Dry Bar, a franchise that launched in 2013 and has about 10 locations in seven states, with nearly 20 more in various stages of development.
Meantime, the expanded ShopRite at Wall Towne Center opened in September, spanning 71,000 square feet and including expanded produce and natural foods departments and a cooking classroom, LMC said in a news release. The property’s owner also has added parking capacity.
“Wall Towne Center always has benefited from a high-traffic location and a quality, complementary tenant mix,” Kyriacou said. “The addition of Cherry Blow Dry Bar as well as an expanded ShopRite store will strengthen its position as the community’s central one-stop shopping location.”
Located on Route 34 less than a quarter-mile from the intersection of Route 35, Wall Towne Center also includes Wine King, Pet Valu, Ocean First Bank, Elements Massage and several other operators, LMC said. The center serves a residential population of more than 130,000 people within a five-mile radius.
