A logistics and moving company has leased nearly 60,000 square feet at a Salem County industrial building, in a deal arranged by Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania.
The brokerage firm on Thursday announced the deal at 88 Industrial Park Road in Pennsville, where DB USA Logistics Inc. will occupy 59,300 square feet. Its new home within the 194,000-square-foot warehouse will support its expansion, with a location near Route 49 and some five miles from Interstate 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike.
Eric Zahniser and Patrick Lafferty, both vice presidents with Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania, represented the tenant.
“The sustained growth of DB USA Logistics necessitated the requirement of strategically located warehouse and industrial space to support its expanding distribution and logistics operations,” Zahniser said. “This sector is among the fastest-growing industry both regionally and nationally, as the need to store and move materials and goods has accelerated with the rise of e-commerce activities.”
In a news release, the brokerage team said DB USA Logistics provides moving and logistics services to corporate and consumer audiences, including freight delivery via air, ocean or ground. Other services include handling vehicle relocations, managing large-scale moving operations such as packing, warehousing materials and products and completing third-party logistics and distribution activities.
The company also maintains operations in the New Castle, Delaware area, the news release said. Its new location in Pennsville, built in 1968, is a two-story building with ceiling heights ranging from 17 to 24 feet, 18 dock and 12 drive-in doors and a large surface parking field that can accommodate roughly 150 vehicles.
The building is also some 12 miles from the Port of Wilmington and Wilmington International Airport, 40 miles from Philadelphia and 120 miles from New York City.
