A personal trust has sold a nearly 41,000-square-foot retail property in Toms River for $9.25 million, in a newly announced deal by Marcus & Millichap.
Alan Cafiero, Brent Hyldahl and Seth Goldberg, investment specialists in the brokerage firm’s New Jersey office, represented the seller in the transaction at 864 Route 37. A private investor purchased the 40,050-square-foot property known as West Hills Plaza.
“There was a great amount of interest in this site from the investment community due to its prime location and high traffic counts,” Goldberg said. “The Investors Bank branch, now Citizens Bank, has over $300 million in deposits. Navigating through the volatile financing environment was challenging but buyer and seller worked together to ultimately close the deal.”
