Rockefeller Group has acquired 100 acres in Burlington County with plans to develop nearly 487,000 square feet of new industrial space, in a deal arranged by NAI Mertz.
Located at 2554 Route 206 in Pemberton, the property is slated for two buildings that will make up what’s known as 206 Logistics Center, according to a news release. The facilities will cater to modern logistics and distribution users, boasting 36- and 40-foot clear ceiling heights, ample trailer parking, ESFR sprinkler systems and 3,000 amps of power.
NAI Mertz Senior Vice President Jonathan Klear and Executive Vice President Fred Meyer brokered the sale. Scott Mertz, the brokerage firm’s president, will market the 486,850-square-foot complex for lease or sale, providing users with the chance to locate in a key logistics hub in South Jersey.
“Working with Rockefeller Group on this transaction has been truly rewarding,” Klear said. “206 Logistics Center is expected to be a significant addition to the industrial market offering excellent access to major transportation corridors such as Route 206, (Interstate 295) and the New Jersey Turnpike, as well as a strong labor pool.”
