A moving company has taken 8,000 square feet of office space in Bridgewater, in one of three recent leases arranged by Zimmel Associates.
The family-owned business, Palmieri Movers, will occupy the front portion of the 22,000-square-foot building at 5 West Chimney Rock Road. The space recently became available when a previous tenant relocated to expand.
Zimmel Associates’ Jordan Zimmel, whose firm manages the building, brokered the new transaction.
“Palmieri Movers had been in regular contact with us for years regarding this park, but we previously had no suitable space to meet their requirements,” said Zimmel, a vice president with the Edison-based firm. “Coincidentally, they reached out to us just as the 8,000 square feet became available. Seizing the opportunity, they immediately decided to lease the space for five years. This timely arrangement benefitted both parties, showcasing our commitment to accommodating the changing needs of our clients.”
Zimmel also represented Levine, Furman and Rubin LLC, an East Brunswick-based firm focused on estate planning and elder law, in a five-year, 5,000-square-foot lease at 1113-1116 Campus Drive West in the Morganville section of Marlboro, according to a news release. CBRE manages the building, which Zimmel originally targeted as a sublease opportunity before the previous tenant negotiated a buyout.
In the third deal, Zimmel brokered a 5,400-square-foot lease at 150 Morristown Road in Bernardsville by LaBar Golf Renovation. He noted that the company initially occupied 1,500 square feet at the property before taking another 1,100 square feet within a year due to the area’s potential and its own business growth, but recently opted for the substantially larger space as business continued to boom.
