A locally based bank has acquired a vacant 15,390-square-foot building in Hasbrouck Heights, with plans to use the space for both a new branch and its corporate headquarters.
NAI James E. Hanson, which represented the seller, announced Tuesday that it brokered the sale of 181 Boulevard to Bogota Savings Bank. The lender paid an undisclosed sum for the property, which sits at a highly visible location at the Walter Avenue intersection.
Joan Cenicola and John Schilp completed the deal for the Teterboro-based brokerage firm.
“While the retail market continues to be challenging, our relationships in the Bergen County market provide us with the insights and contacts needed to close deals for a range of property types,” Cenicola said. “We were pleased to work collaboratively to help our client sell their space to a community-based bank.”
NAI Hanson announced the deal while touting the building’s on-site parking and prominent location.
