The owner of a veterinary practice has acquired a 6,200-square-foot medical office building in Riverdale, under a newly announced deal by NAI James E. Hanson.
According to the brokerage firm, Dr. Yen Shi Kuo will occupy the first floor of the property at 82 Newark Pompton Turnpike after relocating the practice from Short Hills. The second floor of the building, which sits near the intersection of Interstate 287 and Route 23, will remain home to two therapy practices and a medical lab in a shared three-office suite.
“This deal created an ideal situation for all parties involved and underscores how desirable well-located medical space continues to be in the current market,” NAI Hanson’s Andrew Kirshenbaum said. “We are thrilled to have secured a buyer on our client’s behalf and are excited to provide the new owners with the perfect home for their business and an ideal investment property for years to come.”
Kirshenbaum represented the seller, Karser Enterprises LLC, in the transaction with Zhu and Dr. Yen Shi Kuo. He noted that the property, which has 31 parking spots, will be fully occupied with the arrival of Zhu’s practice.
