A recycling management firm has leased more than 12,000 square feet at a Parsippany office building, in one of several newly announced deals by NAI James E. Hanson.
According to the brokerage team, Wilmington Paper Corp. is relocating to 35 Waterview Blvd. from the Pine Brook section of Montville. It will occupy its new 12,090-square-foot space under a lease with YMP Real Estate Management, the landlord, which was represented by NAI Hanson Senior Vice President Susan Mason.
“As we began to consider the next chapter in our company’s growth, we were searching for an innovative space with premium amenities that would match up well with our needs,” said Christine Hunt, director of human resources at The Wilmington Group. “35 Waterview Boulevard checked all of our boxes and ensures that we can provide our team with an amazing environment conducive to success and productivity.”
The deal is among more than 55,000 square feet of new leasing and recent renewal activity at the four-story, 172,498-square-foot building at the nexus of routes 202 and 46. Mason also represented ownership in transactions with Edge New Jersey for 10,518 square feet, Di Cara Rubino Architects for 7,034 square feet, Anthea Labs for 6,424 square feet and MLM Hearing LLC for 6,982 square feet.
Meantime, she secured several lease renewals ranging from 1,819 to 7,589 square feet.
“The leasing activity we’ve seen at 35 Waterview Boulevard is a testament to its transformation into one of the top corporate destinations in New Jersey,” Mason said. “As businesses continue their ‘flight to quality,’ Class A office buildings with amenities like 35 Waterview Boulevard are well positioned to attract new tenants and retain current ones. We are excited to build upon our momentum and continue to welcome tenants in the coming months.”
NAI Hanson noted that 35 Waterview is also minutes from the junction of interstates 80 and 287, adding that YMP Real Estate Management has invested in renovations to the atrium lobby and the addition of flexible meeting areas, lounge seating and a conference center for tenants, as well as an upgraded full-service cafe with corporate catering and a new exterior courtyard seating area.
