A physical therapy chain has leased nearly 2,500 square feet of retail space in downtown Bergenfield, in a newly announced transaction by NAI James E. Hanson.
The provider, SportsCare Physical Therapy, will use the site at 101 Portland Ave. to expand a footprint that already includes more than two dozen locations, NAI Hanson said. The company will occupy 2,450 square feet under a deal with 101 Portland Ave LLC, the owner of the 9,694-square-foot strip center about two and a half miles north of Route 4.
NAI Hanson Vice President Anthony Cassano represented both parties.
“SportsCare Physical Therapy has a long track record of success and knows exactly what they’re looking for in a property,” Cassano said. “Once we established their needs, we relied on our extensive knowledge of local markets to present a variety of options with the location, pricing and size to be an ideal fit. We’re proud to once again fulfil our clients’ needs and continue our history of providing the highest quality commercial real estate services.”
In a news release, NAI Hanson said SportsCare’s new space has 30 feet of frontage, modern roof-mounted HVAC units and 55 parking spaces. The property also serves a population of more than 170,000 people within three miles.
