An area business is growing its footprint with its purchase of more than 115,000 square feet of industrial space in Moorestown, in a transaction arranged by NAI Mertz.
OPEX, which provides warehouse and document and mail automation solutions, paid an undisclosed price to acquire the building from Northbridge Partners. The space at 1224 North Church St. will provide it with an additional location beyond two existing sites in the township and another in Pennsauken.
NAI Mertz President Scott Mertz represented the buyer.
“I am pleased to have found this ideal location for OPEX, as it continues to expand its operations throughout southern New Jersey,” Mertz said. “Industrial properties are commanding significant demand in the state from tenants, buyers and investors alike, so securing this sale was both a challenging and rewarding experience.”
Sitting on eight acres, the single-story, 115,422-square-foot building has 22-foot clear ceiling heights, 12 loading docks and one drive-in door, according to a news release. It also provides easy access to major highways such as Interstate 295, the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 38.
