More than a half-dozen commercial real estate industry leaders will take the stage next month as NAIOP New Jersey hosts its annual President’s Awards and Hall of Fame Reception.
Slated for Nov. 3, the networking event and reception will take place at the Hilton East Brunswick for a program that will highlight some of the chapter’s best-known volunteer leaders. This year’s President’s Awards honorees, who will be recognized for the vital roles they play in supporting the industry through their exemplary service and commitment, include:
- Legacy Award: Dave Gibbons, Elberon Development Group
- Pillar Award: PGIM
- Advocacy Award: Cecilia I. Lassiter, Sills Cummis & Gross PC
- Advocacy Award: Brad Vander Vliet, Crow Holdings Industrial
- Volunteer of the Year: Anthony Marin, MIG Real Estate
- Rising Star Award: Mike Barone, Rockefeller Group
In addition, NAIOP New Jersey will induct L. Robert Lieb of Mountain Development Corp. and Monica Padovano Casiello of U.S. Title Solutions into its Hall of Fame.
“These awards acknowledge the great work of members who have gone above and beyond to advance the objectives of our chapter and ensure the success of commercial real estate development in New Jersey,” said Matt Schlindwein, NAIOP New Jersey president and a managing partner with Greek Real Estate Partners. “We are looking forward to celebrating this year’s honorees and enjoying the last big networking event of the year with our dedicated members who make the New Jersey chapter so strong.”
Cocktails and networking begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the awards presentation and honoree reception, the association said. The event will conclude at 7:30 p.m.
