A group of top development executives and industry professionals will take center stage in early November when NAIOP New Jersey hosts its fall awards dinner and hall of fame induction.
The chapter on Wednesday announced the lineup for its annual President’s Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner, which is slated for Nov. 4 at the Hilton Meadowlands in East Rutherford. This year’s hall of fame honorees will include Anne Evans Estabrook of Elberon Development Group, Mindy Lissner of CBRE and Diana Fainberg of D.E. Fainberg Associates.
Meantime, the chapter will present its Legacy Award to Peter Reinhart, director of the Kislak Real Estate Institute at Monmouth University. Susan Karp of Karp Environmental Law will receive the Pillar Award, which recognizes members who set an extraordinary example of involvement.
NAIOP New Jersey will also present Steve Santola of Woodmont Properties with the Advocacy Award for outstanding work in public policy, while Gensler’s Dana Nalbantian will receive the Volunteer of the Year award. Carlos Torres of Turner Construction Co. will receive the Rising Star Award, the chapter announced, while Robert Thomson, who is attending Roger Williams University, will be honored as the Student Member of the Year.
“The 2019 award recipients will be honored for the vital roles they play in supporting the industry through their work for and commitment to the commercial real estate development association,” NAIOP wrote in its announcement Wednesday.
The program will also include the presentation of the Frank D. Visceglia Memorial Scholarships to Eagle Scout Eli Gemeilhardt of Fair Lawn and Gold Award Scout Olivia Grace Bellek of Flemington. In addition, NAIOP New Jersey will be collecting donations for its 1 Million Meals for NJ fundraiser to support the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
