A real estate investment firm has brought a Toms River shopping center to full occupancy, touting the milestone about a year after acquiring the 138,000-square-foot property.
Executives with the company, JJ Operating Inc., say the complex at 1256 Indian Head Road was 25 percent occupied when it purchased the property. Recent renovations have helped attract new tenants such as Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, which occupies 34,294 square feet, along with Urban Air and Dollar Tree.
“We’ve always wanted to take part in the incredible community of Toms River, and we’re excited about how quickly we were able to lease this extraordinary property,” said Michael Jemal of JJ Operating Inc., which is based in New York.
He noted that the renovations have created a sleek, contemporary aesthetic.
