The site of a historic mixed-use building in Mendham’s business district has changed hands, in a newly announced deal by Newmark Associates CRE.
According to the firm’s Dennis Giammetta, who brokered the transaction at 23 East Main St., the roughly 2,100-square-foot structure includes ground-floor retail space and a residential area on the second floor. He added that the building, which sits on a half-acre and dates to 1900, is the former home of Mendham Interiors.
The deal involved two private entities. Terms were not disclosed.
“As the community eagerly awaits the unveiling of the property’s future plans, the sale of (23 East Main St.) symbolizes the ongoing growth and vitality of Mendham’s real estate market,” Newmark Associates wrote in a news release. “This transaction showcases the enduring appeal of the area and the promising prospects it holds for businesses and investors alike.”
