Newmark Associates has announced promotions for two of its top producers this year.
The firm, which is based in Cedar Knolls, has promoted Charles Ritschel to vice president, a move that coincides with him earning Newmark’s award for top industrial sales. The company has also elevated Courtney Rosenkrantz, who received this year’s award for top mixed-use properties sales, to senior sales associate.
Ritschel joined Newmark in 2013 after graduating from Hofstra University, specializing in office and industrial markets in northern New Jersey, according to a news release. Recent notable transactions include leasing 41,250 square feet of flex industrial space at 7 Industrial Parkway in Livingston, along with the sale of a 38,700-square-foot, fully leased industrial property at 176 Franklin Ave. in Rockaway.
“I am very excited to continue to grow with Newmark Associates and am looking forward to the next chapter in my career,” Ritschel said.
Rosenkrantz, who markets in all asset classes in Morris, Essex and Union counties, joined the firm in 2016 after graduating from the University of South Carolina. Her recent notable transactions include selling a mixed-use building at 59 Franklin St. in Morristown and a retail building at 34 East Northfield Road in Livingston, along with the sale of a redevelopment site at 220-228 Berdan Ave. in Wayne.
“The commercial real estate industry is still predominantly male, so to have the opportunity to learn from strong, successful women in the business such as Susanne Newmark has been inspiring,” Rosenkrantz said.
