A new tenant is coming to a Fairfield office building after inking a lease for some 18,000 square feet, marking the latest deal at the property by brokers with Newmark Associates.
The occupier, which was not disclosed, will use the space at 695 Route 46 as a general administrative office and operations center, according to a news release. Newmark Associates Managing Director Helene Elbaum and Vice President Jeannette Melillo represented both parties in the deal, citing the importance of the building’s abundant parking, highway location and ownership’s ability to offer a long-term solution with flexible leasing terms.
The transaction brings the 154,000-square-foot asset to 85 percent occupancy, the brokers said. It also capped off a year that included several new leases at the property.
