The developer of a new boutique apartment building in Rutherford has tapped Newmark Knight Frank as its leasing agent for the property’s ground-floor retail space.
In a news release, NKF said it was marketing spaces of 1,538 square feet and 2,111 square feet at The Parker, a 52-unit development that opened last month at 106 Park Ave. The firm is representing Vango Development, touting the building’s location in a burgeoning downtown area and two blocks from NJ Transit rail service.
“The retail space at The Parker offers tenants the ability to move into the base of a brand-new luxury residential building in the heart of one of New Jersey’s premier downtowns, located conveniently nearby some of the best shops and restaurants that Rutherford has to offer,” said NKF’s Dean Tselepis, who is leading the assignment. “We see this as an exciting opportunity within a rapidly growing market.”
The spaces are located on either side of The Parker’s ground-floor lobby and adjacent to neighboring stores such as Suprema, Playa Bowls, Dunkin Donuts and Kabob on the Cliff, the news release said. The luxury building is also within walking distance of restaurants and the Rutherford Public Library.
“The Parker has become a destination for residents who wanted both a dynamic, urban-inspired lifestyle of downtown Rutherford and its residential appeal,” Van Golemis of Vango Development said. “We are pleased to work with the NKF team in finding a tenants who will appreciate the robust and welcoming community that residents and tenants of The Parker have created.”
