A North Plainfield retail property has changed hands among private investors for a price of $5.1 million, following a deal brokered by Marcus & Millichap.
The brokerage on Wednesday announced the sale of the 28,179-square foot retail property, located at 1011 Route 22 in the Union County borough. Ben Sgambati, Alan Cafiero and Brent Hyldahl, investment specialists in the firm’s New Jersey office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller
The team also secured and represented the buyer, said Brian C. Hosey, regional manager of the firm’s New Jersey office.
The property is 100 percent occupied with two tenants, Asian Food Market and White Tiger Laundromat.
“We’re still seeing a very high demand for centers with supermarket anchors throughout New Jersey,” Hyldahl said in a prepared statement.
