An Atlanta-based law firm has taken more than 20,000 square feet in Paramus as part of a plan to consolidate its footprint in New Jersey, brokers with Cushman & Wakefield announced.
The practice, Hall Booth Smith PC, is leasing the space at 15 East Midland Ave. under a deal with Onyx Equities, according to a news release. C&W’s Kevin Landers, Barry Zeller, Jonathan Serko, David DeMatteis and Mina Shehata represented the tenant in the 12-year, 20,120-square-foot lease, while Newmark represented ownership.
“While headquartered in Atlanta, Hall Booth Smith has a regional presence in eight states and they wanted to consolidate their three New Jersey litigation offices into one to bring all of their employees in the area to the same building,” Landers said. “They were looking for a high-quality building with recent updates and a good selection of amenities, which they found at 15 East Midland Avenue.”
In announcing the deal, C&W noted that 15 East Midland Ave. is a five-story, 260,000-square-foot building with a sky-lit atrium and a café. The property is easily accessible via two major corridors and is surrounded by high-end shopping, dining, retail and hotel options.
