A private occupier has purchased a nearly 16,000-square-foot office building in downtown Denville, brokers with Cushman & Wakefield announced Thursday.
In a news release, the listing team said the property at 165 East Main St. drew strong interest thanks in part to its visibility and access to the township’s walkable, amenity-rich business district. It also benefits from its proximity to major transportation routes, including Route 46 and Interstate 80, as well as the Denville train station for direct service to Manhattan.
Cushman’s Andrew Schwartz, Jordan Sobel, André Balthazard and Dan Bottiglieri represented the unnamed seller of the two-story, 15,879-square-foot building. Toni Kaufmann of Realty Executives represented the buyer, which plans to be an owner-occupier.
Terms were not disclosed.
“We are pleased to have represented the seller in the successful sale of 165 East Main Street,” Balthazard said. “This property presented a unique opportunity to acquire a prominent boutique office asset near the Denville train station and downtown Denville. The high level of interest we received in this asset is a testament to the continued demand for high-quality assets in transit-oriented suburban downtowns like Denville.”
