REDCOM Design & Construction has broken ground on a project that will bring more than 56,000 square feet of new industrial space to Monmouth County.
The firm, which is working on behalf of developer 3PL Center, said the facility at 156 Boundary Road in Marlboro will include four loading dock doors and one drive-in door as part of a precast concrete panel building with form liners. Plans for the 56,170-square-foot project also call for four offices, one large breakroom and two bathrooms, as well as improved access along Boundary Road, expanded parking areas and upgraded stormwater management systems.
REDCOM is managing the construction and provided architectural and engineering services for what it described as a logistics, shipping and fulfillment facility.
“The 156 Boundary Road project highlights our focus on creating advanced, future-ready logistics facilities,” said Sam Rockaway, REDCOM’s senior vice president of sales. “We’re proud to work with Marcos Eddi and the 3PL Center team on a development that supports long-term growth and reflects our shared commitment to excellence.”
The firm marked the start of ground-up construction earlier this month at a ceremony that included team members Mo Elkhadragy, Ryan Teicher, Rockaway, Josh Tiner, Sean Feeney, Pat Kelmartin, as well as Lara and Marcos Eddi of 3PL and Stilo’s Julie McKeon and Bobby Stilo.
