A physician is expanding his footprint in Ridgewood, having acquired more than 1,200 square feet of condominium space at a medical office building in the village.
Brokers with NAI James E. Hanson say the buyer, Dr. Daniel J. Char, is already a longtime owner at 1124 East Ridgewood Ave. It will now occupy an additional 1,219 square feet after purchasing the newest space at the 31,600-square-foot building.
NAI Hanson’s Darren Lizzack and Randy Horning represented the seller, Pondview Medical Center of Ridgewood LLC.
“As we look to emerge from the pandemic, the importance of community-based health care has only increased,” Lizzack said. “With the growth of these practices, spaces like 1124 East Ridgewood Avenue not only offer an opportunity to better deliver care into local communities but also enable physicians to make a long-term investment in an asset class poised for ongoing strength and stability.”
In a news release, NAI Hanson noted that 1124 East Ridgewood provides quick access to Route 17 and the Garden State Parkway. Char, director of vascular intervention with The Valley Hospital, is expanding his presence while still benefiting from the building’s property management and maintenance services.
